As a self proclaimed "folkie" I am looking to connect with one or two other musicians to collaborate and create "folkified" covers and maybe even write some tunes together. I was the lead singer for a classic rock cover band and we gigged a couple of times a year but I am looking to do something on a smaller scale (less band mates), but I hope to do more gigging. I was also involved in an acoustic duo for a year or so and I loved it! It would be great to find some cool spots in the Foothills and Calgary to play on a Friday or Saturday night... or both!

Influences
My influences span the decades from the 60's through to today. I love a good folk tune (Joni Mitchell) and something with a little soul too (Amos Lee and Ben Harper). There are so many amazing artists out there! some of my other favorites, just off the top of my head, include... Sheryl Crow, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Dan Mangan, Civil Wars, Midnight Oil, Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, Tom Petty... Just to name a few.
