ABOUT

Drummer with loads of various band experiences & maturity, offering drums and backing vocals for like-minded musicians looking to form a rock-based band. My style capabilities can vary for the most part as required.
I did survive those circus-like years of rock. Years of 6-day gig work weeks with 1 day travel to the next club or city/town. I learned tons of songs, did tons of solos, played with, and learned from tons of great players and learned how to cope with tons of jerks. I came out of that blur alive, and I can still lay it down well today.
I do like to accommodate. If the frontline performers need a reliable drummer who is that backbone in the pocket hitter with reliable and consistent tempos and plays the shots where required ALL THE TIME, or possibly you are eager and fueled for that drummer who can be animated and assist in driving that in-your-face frontal assault! I can do either style well enough. Again, I accommodate and do not overtake. I am a bandmate first and foremost and do what is needed for the band’s focus.

Influences

I am a product of the Glory-Days of rock, with all the usual influences like; Ringo, Bonzo, the amazing Loon, Ian Paice, Tommy Aldridge, Carl Palmer… But I have never really tried to emulate just one style of player. I have always tried to be the result of many influences and importantly, be what is required for the band I am part of.
