SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Long-time guitarist and vocalist looking for any interesting projects. Would love to get gig-ready or recording with the right people, but up for lower commitment stuff to see where it goes. Been playing nearly 25 years, but no real professional experience. I jam with friends once a month or so, but looking for something more frequent, with the possibility of getting more serious than doing covers at rehearsal studios.
Musically, I tend towards the indie/alt-rock-centric. Not afraid of synth or other electronic elements, but tend more towards dance-flavoured rock than rock-flavoured dance, if you catch my meaning. Happy to borrow elements from almost any genre, any era, just as long as we're rolling it up into something that feels "real", not some over-produced, auto-tuned ear candy.
As far as I go...
Vocals: Pretty versatile, respectable range, comfortable in falsetto, solid projection. Not a "technical" singer, but I can carry a tune and I'm not afraid to be heard.
Guitar: Very solid rhythm guitarist, I'd say that's my forte. On lead, I can manage prepared licks and solos, but I'm not much for improvising. Just let me strum away and sing..
Writing: ...My ADHD really shows when it comes to finished material. I've got hundreds or riffs and sections collecting digital dust, but not much to show for it in terms of finished product. If you're more of a big picture writer struggling to find those finishing touches, this may be a good fit!

Sometimes dig into stuff from the 20's on up, anything that could show up on a Fallout soundtrack. =/
I know, it's a lot, but if we've got any overlap at all and you want to wrap it up in something rock-centric, we'll probably see eye-to eye.
