Ive played music pretty religiously since I could really. Been in a decent amount of bands and played a decent amount of shows. I started as a guitarist so I can play that and bass but ive been drumming and doing backup vocs in all my bands. I really want to get more into singing, in never happier then when im singing and am a kareoke nut (pls dont deduct points for that, its a free backing band and audience haha) I think I could be a good frontman and ive been told, I promise you, everytime ive sung a kareoke that I should sing or that it was the best kareoke theyve heard of that song....and id try to be more modest but I guess if im gunna sing I need to up the ego! Just kidding. I think.. Anyway.. I cant write lyrics...well...I have a few times and they work but Its not my strong suite....I can put a melody to almost any words though. My style of singing is meatloaf (working on the high c but I had it and im sure itl come back, ACDC, once again minus a few notes but I can do many full songs and would get more range if I was doing it regularly. Gnr zeppelin (I can kill rock n roll) and I can do lower stuff too like foo fighters n nirvana and that sorta thing. More of a tenor though id say. Im lookin for a cover band...wouldnt be against an originals band but im not a confident lyricist. Il sing your words though... Any of the styles I mentioned, i do love punk n pop punk hell even country but id say my strong point would be classic rock...
