Played guitar for 16 years and piano for over 20. Started off mostly inspired by classic rock but that quickly transitioned to metal and more specifically progressive metal. I've never been a shredder but I can play most of what's thrown at me after some time and practice. I enjoy soaring melodies and guttural heavy rhythms, full sounds and cool/experimental time signatures. My main writing style now seems to stem from bands like Tesseract and Skyharbor; my classic rock upbringing doesn't really bleed into the music I play anymore, though prog metal could always do with more solos!
