Largely self-taught, committed to daily practice on guitar and bass. Can read sheet music well, and tabs moderately well. Would be a good addition to a group/artist seeking support on vocals along with rhythm guitar or possibly bass. Most of my experience with groups is playing trumpet in concert band. I have performed casually as a vocalist playing acoustic guitar.

Influences
Grew up on a steady diet of James Taylor, Great Big Sea, and Lynyrd Skynard. In my teens I listened to alternative genres ranging from Shinedown to OkGo (they're Indie according to some) to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Lately, acoustic singer-songwriters have my close attention, along with The National, Mumford & Sons, and lots of Indie festival music.

Acoustic Guitar (full-size), Electric Guitar (LesPaul), Jazz Bass (Fender), Trumpet (beat-up but sounds good), Piano Accordion (oversimplified model for my still-stumbling hands), Synth/Percussion Pads (still figuring it out), plus some amps, mics, and miscellaneous recording equipment.
