Experienced blues/roots/Americana/alt-country guitarist, interested in acoustic or electric situation. Could be an existing band, or starting up something new...who knows?
Influences run from prewar Delta blues and gospel to 50s/60s Chicago blues and soul to alt-country and rootsy punk, with some African, Middle Eastern and Balkan sounds thrown in.
Musical sweet spot would probably be juke joint/punk blues - RL Burnside/Jr. Kimbrough/early Black Keys - but interested in branching out and building something new. The important thing is that it's raw and honest. Not looking for top-40 or classic rock cover bands.
Mid-40s, looking to practice regularly and gig locally a couple of times a month.
