Hello there, I used to be very active in the music scene a number of years ago, but I've been focused more on voice acting and improv as of late. I work out of my home studio.

I have performed in various venues from coffee shops to national TV!

I'm looking to get back into performing locally again in Winnipeg (and area) at coffee shops, restaurants, and other venues that allow for solo, or duo performances.

Ideally, I would like to find another female around my age (mid 20s-mid 40s) who can play an instrument and sing so we can rock some harmonies and fill out the sound. Piano player + vocals, or guitar + vocals.

Ideally, I'd like to perform once or twice a month. I am a songwriter, so I'd like to perform some of my songs (pop/acoustic/folk - you can check out my samples), as well as covers. I like some jazzy stuff, some classic rock done in a pop/folk way, current hits, and older hits in the pop realm.

Practicing would probably be twice a month once we get two 45-minute sets down.

I was influenced to sing and write music by the awesome female singer/songwriters of the 90s and 00s! Sheryl Crow, KT Tunstall, Norah Jones, Alanis Morisette, Sarah McLachlan, Annie Lennox, Feist, Serena Ryder, Ingrid Michaelson, Tegan and Sara, Chantal Kreviazuk... I still love their music!

EQUIPMENT

Live music: acoustic guitar, cables, mic stand, music stand (admittedly I need a live performance mic, mic cable, and small sound system). I do have a home studio with a kick ass vocal booth, audio interface, DAW, monitors, etc.
