A seasoned vocalist with over 25 years of musical experience as a singer and performer in India. I started piano at the age of 3 and found my voice through Musical Theatre by the time I was 7. My first foray into the professional music circuit was as the lead vocalist of the city's only All Girl Rock Band in 2004. I then graduated law school, completed my masters, practiced the law and went right back to music full time. I have since been the frontwoman and lead vocalist (with an obsession for harmony) of a variety of bands(original and cover) ranging from classic rock and tribute bands to bands specializing in jazz, blues, hip hop, r&b, and gospel to name a few. I have also been a playback singer for Indian Film (Tamil movies). I have managed and programmed artists for performance venues in Chennai, created multiple musical projects, and collaborations, staged tribute concerts and fronted tribute bands. I have moved back to Ottawa after many years away and am looking to find my way back to finding musical work (stage and studio) and/or some great artists looking for a singer.
