I am a Mridangam artist, specializing in this unique percussion instrument from the South Indian classical tradition. With 20 years of experience, I recently relocated to Vancouver two years ago.
I lead a Carnatic music ensemble and have performed at prestigious venues throughout the city, including Massey Theatre, the VSO's Pyatt Hall, Michael J. Fox Theatre, and Oakridge Adventist Church, among others. I also compose original works for percussion ensembles.
I am actively seeking collaborations with musicians from diverse genres and am enthusiastic about participating in open jam sessions.
