ABOUT

This is a tribute page to our old Kamloops based band "Caught In The Act" - reason for this is to have a platform where we can post some of our old recordings of "Cover Tunes" that we did back in the day. This band was together for 30 years, during which time it took on several different configurations in members, some stuck around for many years while others for short time spans. This band had great success playing gigs every weekend Friday & Saturdays for many years "weekend warriors" (as we all had families and regular jobs so we never hit the road full time) but our gigs were always out of town . . we were the house band in several Pubs for years as well and played to full houses and full dance floors back in the day. In the later years the gigs became harder to find but the band stayed dedicated to the route cause "great tight sound". Also in the later years with some new members the band continued to improve it's sound, we did finally perform a few gigs in Kamloops at the Riverside Park band shell by donating our time to a worthy cause the ALS walks, two years running . So this is the reason for this BandMix site.
