I’m a 31-year-old blues/rock guitarist; songwriter and recording artist that infuses melodic guitar virtuosity and prowess in today’s popular music genre. Having studied Blues, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country and Funk for the past 25 years, I’ve developed a keen sense and understanding of music which has enabled me to involve myself in a wide variety of bands, recordings and music competitions.
Over the years, I’ve spent my time developing and understanding the theory and tone behind guitar virtuosos such as Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson, which has enabled me to develop my authentic sound and successfully capture opportunities in the music industry. This has led to winning the Head-To-Head Shred guitar competition in the Niagara region twice and Winner #1 of the Q107.7 Traffic Jam that followed with a guitar jam and interview with Canadian rock legend Kim Mitchell.
Today, my efforts are more focused on the composing and recording of guitar based pop music. My compositional influences range from classic artists like Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, Dire Straits, Journey, and Rush to more modern artists that include Sting, U2, Bon Iver, Keith Urban and Muse. I’m always open to new musical experiences and relish working with professional music groups and individuals.
