Hey,
I am a jazz singer! I love jazz. I'm hoping to one day be able to create a band that I can perform with for local recitals or any other opportunities that may come up. It's hard trying to find musicians in Halifax and those who you do find are very expensive, and I'm a University student.
So I though that this website would be a great avenue to hopefully be able to start a jazz/swing band and sing, and have fun! I'm looking for at least a bass player, preferably upright but electrical is fine as well, and a piano player. If I got those two I would be greatly satisfied. However, a drummer, acoustic guitar player and saxophone player, basically any instrument that can compliment the genre of jazz would be awesome.
I think it would be great if we could jam together. Oh and I'm really, really nice. Like really. Very easy to get along with and in my opinion, as well as others, a great singer. So lets make music!
