Hey, I'm Adam, I'm 18, and I dream of being a rock star (or metal star, I guess). I've been a fan of rock since my early childhood, but since then my taste has diverted more to metal, mainly thrash and speed metal. I have been playing guitar now for about 3-4 years and have experience prior to that on the saxophone and with vocals. I would consider myself to specialize in classical and metal guitar styles. I have been striving to improve my skills in both these areas since day one, and I usually practice for at least 3 hours every day. Other than my playing abilities, I would consider myself to be adept in song and lyrical writing. Most of the songs I've written are what I'd describe as artistic thrashy metal with a hint of classical. It's really a unique combination that I think stands out from other bands and musicians. My lyrics usually deal with themes of epic stories, ridiculing societal conventions, lack of morality, and bad-assery in general.
As of now, I have never been in a band and have never played a gig. I think I'm ready to give it a shot. As a warning, I am conservative and will likely not mix well with other musicians who might have left-leaning views. Many of my lyrics and conversations revolve around conservatism.
