Music is my language ~ my expression ~ my emotion

I began my studies in violin at the age of three. For the first years of my instruction, I was profoundly entwined within the Suzuki Pedagogy. Beyond mere private instrumental instruction, I delved into group classes, orchestras, festivals, theory & piano instruction, competitions, & exams through The Royal Conservatory of Music in Violin, Piano, & Theory.

Although classically trained, I was blessed to have had teachers who allowed me to experience many other types & styles of music, the art of improvisation, & creativity of composing & arranging.

I began my professional career in music at the age of 17. I started teaching private Violin & Theory lessons; playing as a freelance musician for weddings, banquets, & special events; & playing in & directing for several orchestras & ensembles.

In the last decade of my career I have had the opportunity to work with many fine musicians, bands & organizations as a violinist, teacher, composer, freelance musician, & music director.
