SEEKING
Band to Join, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Electronic Music.ABOUT
(leonberdi at the company)
I’m looking for a bassist and a drummer who want to play originals with a hard and heavy groove (70s rock, stoner-rock, and grunge), but also willing to settle down into more calm, psychedelic, territory (Pink Floyd and shoegazer). I am also open to incorporating electronica if the right people can be added to the mix.
For incorporating electronica into rock, my biggest influence is Primal Scream.
As long as you've got a solid rock groove and enjoy also diving into some slower psychedelic stuff, that should be fine.
Beyond style, I’m looking for people who are easy to get along with, who are creative and technically solid, and who have their own gear. You should be committed to jamming on a regular basis (1-2 times a week), play gigs occasionally, and do recordings.
Rock n' roll is a very serious past-time for me, but it is not my career. You may not be in the same situation, but hopefully you are of the same mindset.
I'll share with you here a couple of links to hear music from my previous band's work. It was a trio, and I'm playing guitar and singing on the tracks.
