I started playing classical guitar and folk music when I was 15. I even did a few gigs then. Since then I've learned fiddle and have been playing it now for over 20 years. Influences
I'm from Nova Scotia originally and I love celtic music although there aren't many opportunities to play it out here. Gordon Lightfoot was a big influence in folk music. I like 50s and 60s rock and roll and also some country music. I play with a couple of groups but there is always time for more. I'm available most days and nights for practices or jamming.

EQUIPMENT
I have several fiddles, including a Fender which I don't play much. I've got a viola, a few mandolins, a banjo, a couple guitars and a Washburn acoustic bass and a bass ukelele.
I have a Fishman amp, Fender rumble bass amp, a mic and stand and my friend has a small sound system.
