Looking to play some Fat Wreck covers. I'm about 60% invested, which is exactly as invested one should be for this style of music.
I don't care to make original music, although I'm open to it. I just wanna play some late 90's - early 2000's skate punk for fun. Originally had the idea of a living Nofx tribute band, but try as I might, I just can't match Mike's range vocally. Still open to giving it a shot down tuned half a step or something, but whatever. I just want to play some bass with other people and have a good time. Fun, high energy skate punk. Hopefully on a small stage somewhere, someday.
Nofx, Lagwagon, Strung Out, Face to Face, No Use, Gimme Gimmes, maybe even some Refused. (one of these things is not like the others) That sort of thing.
I'm 36, been playing for 24 years, and not nearly as good as I ought to be after all that time, but I can pluck a string well enough to keep up with the above. I do not have a jam space, unfortunately.
