I am a vocalist based in Calgary. I have many years of experience across multiple genres but my main focus has been jazz the last 5 years or so. My repertoire has grown enough now that I've started to book gigs as a solo vocalist so I'm looking to connect with jazz musicians of all kinds. Would love to eventually have a full band with brass as I love that swinging big band sound! I love to take an old standard and make it sound fresh, and I'm also inspired by acts like Scott Bradlee's Post Modern Jukebox where they take modern pop tunes and give them a classic jazz twist.
