ABOUT
Am am a professional singer/songwriter, who is serious about music but still likes to have a killer time. I recently won a National Music Award, of which 11 music graduates in Canada won, called "The Fred Sherrat Award". I already graduated with a Vocal Performance MajorDiploma, and am finishing my additional Music Engineering Diploma this year. I have 2 projects that I've been working on and could use some help from a variety of musicians to collaborate with and finish what I've started. One project I describe as an Electro-Prog-Rock band with an ethnic feel (indian/spanish..etc) My vocals are soulful-trip hop-ish and has a rocky edge, with some ethnic spice. I'm planning on moving somewhere in the next little while, and depending on where I hear (on the net) of maybe some people who'd be into playing with me, I'd consider moving there. I am an open book, and have no attachments right now. I just wanna try to do something meaningful and somewhat successful. My other project is less rocky- more Acoustic meets Trip-hop/R&B/Hip Hop/Acid-Jazz/Soul. I could use a producer to help me with a lot of this, and/or a synth/programmer/sampler to be committed to this project. I only wanna hear back from people who are TALENTED/ AND GOOD MUSICIANS! No offense... Song-writing/Composing and creative skills are an asset. I'd also love to get a couple people with an ethnic backround in music, who can naturally compose with their native techniques. I believe that a band should be like family, and respect is a must! I'm 23 years old, and have plenty of material, however, Im ready to sing for other peoples stuff... and for others to contribute what they have to my music. If you don't like the style of most of my influences, then don't bother contacting me back, b/c this mesh is what I'm interested in making this music like. Thanks for reading this novel.
