ABOUT

Marisha is a graduate of Vancouver Island University’s Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies program. She has an eclectic CV that includes cruise ship show bands, pit orchestras for the Arts Club Theatre Company, Chemainus Theatre, Bard to Broadway Theatre Society, Echo Players and Nanaimo Theatre Group, Nanaimo Musician’s Association and Arrowsmith big band, Oceanside Youth Orchestra, a Baroque ensemble playing the music of Heinrich Schutz, tributes to Antonio Carlos Jobim and Horace Silver respectively, numerous jazz, bluegrass, indie and rock bands, touring BC with a roots rock group and a Patsy Cline tribute show, and leading the 9-piece funk band The ‘Mo.
