Played music for over a decade as a child and teenager, with classical training on the violin. Then joined a few different bands in high school with whom I played lead and rhythm guitar. From university on, left music aside for 15+ years, but got back into it about three years ago, this time as a bass player. Played with several bands over that period and toured in China during the summer of 2014.

Influences
Classic rock is the most enduring influence on my musical tastes. The 1970s was a glorious decade and I enjoy most of what The Who, the Stones, Rush, Clapton, Springsteen, the Clash -- the list goes on -- did during this area. I also love blues, folk and contemporary rock bands -- think of Pearl Jam, G&R or Dave Matthews. Being a rhythm guy at heart, I thoroughly enjoy a good groove and must admit that I am -- mea culpa -- a huge disco/soul/funk fan. In short, I don't restrict myself to a particular genre. I am keen to play covers but also to contribute with others in developing new and original material.
