ABOUT

I am an accomplished, classically trained jazz vocalist with lots of performance experience – Dixieland, jazz standards (plus choral, chamber choir etc etc, many years’ experience). I have composed several jazz tunes, read, transpose and write charts and have studied jazz guitar as well for several years with Tim Bedner. I am also pretty good at playing percussion on snare drum and Djembe. In addition, I am also the chair and webmaster of the Jazzworks Board of Directors, and very involved in the jazz community.

I have a big voice that spans the tenor to soprano range. I have been compared to Diana Shore. I am on pitch and on time!
