I’m an older musician who plays reasonably good guitar (not great!!!) and some bass. I really don’t like playing cover tunes. For a long time now, I’ve focussed on creative improvisation with a number of other musicians. The idea is to have spontaneous "musical conversations", in which an idea gets introduced, someone responds with something appropriate, and the piece grows from there.
