I am a songwriter that is looking to start a band. I am looking for a vocalist/lyricist primarily but I'm also looking for all types of dedicated musicians. Multi-instrumentalists would be ideal.
I don't want to put boundaries on what style of music. I like the idea of mixing genres.
I suppose rock would be a nice general term that can incorporate many elements.
I like experimenting but I want to create good music. I'm looking for people that put real passion into their playing.
I do not have a wife and kids so I would like to practice twice a week if possible.
I know how to write a song and I understand the importance of dynamics and arrangement. I am looking for someone with some experience and professionalism.
It's just as important to know when NOT to play, as it is when TO play.
Age doesn't matter as long as you are relatively mature and don't have any drinking or drug problems.
If you are a drummer, it would be preferable that you know how to tune your instrument, or at least have someone tune it for you.
I'm looking to play shows, record, tour, take over the world like everyone else.

Influences
I grew up on oldies. I love classic rock, folk, punk, soul, funk and electronic music. Anything with emotion and or energy really.
I am influenced in some way by almost everything I hear. Whether it's gutteral throat singing, an NAC orchestral preformance or knives and spoons clunking together at the dinner table. There's music in everything.
