I am Michael and I have been working as a guitarist and guitar music instructor in Vancouver BC since 2010, it’s been a consistent side gig throughout my days from college to my full time day job until the pandemic came , I’ve started playing more music and gigs again since 2022.
My experiences involved playing in original bands, providing live music in restaurants, playing top 40 gigs, casino gigs, corporate party gigs, wedding gigs, music festivals as well as music events in the Chinese community such as concerts, singing contests. I also have experience working in studio with singer songwriters, contributing to ideas , arrangements and composing. I teach guitar to kids and adults during weeknights or weekends as a private instructor at home , used to work for a couple of music schools in Richmond.
