SEEKING
Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Vocalist.ABOUT
I learned to play guitar later in life because I found rockabilly and early rock 'n roll music. From there I went down all sorts of connected paths to jump blues, Piedmont blues, early R&B and vocal groups. I love anything that swings and/or rocks and my goal in terms of playing in a band would be to make music that gets people dancing.
My ideal world is a drummer, bass player, and keyboards to play a mix of older and lesser known jump blues and rock and roll songs every week till we have enough material to play some shows around town. No money involved, just fun.
I like to sing and have a good voice, so I'm happy to do a lot of the singing, but I also would hope to play with folks who want to mix it up or harmonize. My guitar playing is good, but I'm no virtuoso. Right now I have a lot of licks to work out and no outlet!
