ABOUT

SEEKING GUITARIST/BASSIST: In case you missed Mike’s latest video update (that also explains why we weren’t touring this spring/summer), we’re currently going through a lineup change. After parting ways with guitarist Eric Morrison, our bassist Roger is now on lead guitar, which opens up a spot in the band. We’re also taking this opportunity to make another change, which is Mike stepping away from rhythm guitar to focus on vocals. While we consider the potential of converting Dead Asylum to a five-piece, this means we’re looking for a new rhythm guitarist and possibly a bassist.

Here’s what we’re looking for in a guitarist (similar criteria for bassist):

- A confident and tight player with good stage presence
- Plays rhythm but is able to harmonize and bring in simple leads if necessary
- Preferably has experience playing with other bands and touring
- Open to writing and contributing creatively
- Has pro level gear
- Wants to play melodic death/thrash
- Ability and motivation to tour in and outside of Canada (including the US and Europe)
- Financially stable
- No criminal record
- Valid passport
- Not addicted to any ‘substances’ (legal or illegal)(coffee doesn’t count)
- Laid back and easygoing personality
- Lives in the Vancouver area
