ABOUT

Hello hello. I alway have a hard time filling these out, but I've been playing music for quite a long time. I'm looking to join a band playing lead guitar or bass, and I enjoy singing lead vocals, and could just act as vocalist if wanted. I have my original project under my name and do all the instruments and recording myself. I can sing lead and backups if necessary. Not really looking for a cover band; I prefer original writing. Having said that, covers are a lot of fun, so I'm usually down to play them in a "for-fun" jam situation. I Should mention that I'm about to become a new dad, so I'm looking for something fun with a light commitment for a few months. Maybe a show a month, but I can up that commitment as time frees up. I enjoy a lot of genres, but I am preferably looking for something punk or punk-adjacent OR I'd love to play in a Celtic band again.

I have everything needed to record in my basement and the know-how to do it. I LOVE being an audio engineer, so if things go well, I'd be happy to record the band. Send me a message; I'd be down to see what music can be made with the right group!

The preferred musician age is the mid-20s and up.

EQUIPMENT

My number one is a hot-rodded Fender strat I've had forever. It has a bucker, so it does the heavy stuff well, and custom shop 69's in the middle and neck for less heavy stuff. My backup is a hot-rodded 3-coil strat.

The amp is a Marshall 100 Watt DSL half stack. It's bloody loud, but I have a little volume box to tame it when needed - in other words, it can get along with electric drum kits and quieter mixes. I have some pedals as well. I play many different genres with the amp.

I play a Gibson J-45 for acoustic.

I have a Matt Freeman P-Bass and a 100-watt solid-state Ampeg combo for Bass that sounds pretty good.

I can definitely drum and love punk drumming; however, I'm not equipped to be a gigging drummer right now, so unless a drum kit is present at a jam space, I'm better off strummin' strings.
