Band to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums.

ABOUT

I'm looking for like-minded musicians to form a hard rock-ish band playing a mixture of originals and covers. Defining the genre is hard - I like loud guitars, loud drums, cool riffs, grooves and killer hooks.

The 'originals' part is important to me. I'm not interested in just copying what others have done.

I'm 40 and have been playing guitar since I was a kid. I have plenty of live and studio experience and like to collaborate on originals. I have reliable transportation and decent equipment. The long hair is long gone, but the attitude remains.

Ideally I'm looking for some guys who want to jam weekly (weeknights are best) and play the occasional show. Recording would be fun too. I don't want to be a rock star and I'm not interested in touring, but I do want to present a professional product, and have fun doing it.

Influences

My influences are varied, but include early KISS, early Crue, early Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Ramones, Rage Against the Machine, The Police, etc. I like loud guitars and guitar solos, but also have a lot of fun playing funk and different styles.
