SEEKING guitar OR bass player for established Toronto-based hardcore punk band.
Looking for a motivated individual who is willing to contribute musically, either writing riffs and songs or at least contributing complementary parts and fills. Backup vocals is a plus, but not required. Weekly rehearsals (Friday evenings), typically playing 1-2 shows per month, and studio recording.
Wanting to get back to the fuller 4-piece sound we had up until a couple of years ago. Currently operating as a 3-piece, with a bass player who is willing to switch over to guitar (depending on how the search plays out). Heavily influenced by 80s era hardcore punk, playing and writing fast songs that incorporate different levels of technicality, abrupt starts and stops, and a mix of tempo changes. We're all about having fun and playing the music we love, without taking our sound and musical content lightly. Drummer and vocalist/guitarist have been playing together since the early 90s.
