Hey there,
We're Moose on the Loose - a singer / guitarist and bass player who are looking for a drummer to join our project. We'd also like to eventually find another guitarist, be it an acoustic or electric player.
Currently playing shows as a duo, our style is probably a mix of folk, rock, funk, and pop. We take the crowd by surprise with our ripping bass lines, one-of-a-kind singing, and unique originals - but want to have that fuller feel that only a drummer can provide. Our set up is electric bass and acoustic guitar (plugged in, don't worry!), but we play very upbeat and grooving music.
Our goal will be to play a show every month or so (mostly, if not all, in Montreal) and eventually record an EP. We don't expect to really make any money out of playing, but if we do - awesome. We are in our mid twenties, and are looking for someone who is within range of that. The drummer will have to have his or her own equipment, with the intention on eventually moving into a jam space together.
