mr_hollywood - Musician in Cornwall ON

Hey fellow music lovers!!!

I've been singing and playing guitar in bands since my teens, but consider myself more an entertainer than a musician. Originally from Montreal, spent eight years in Kingston before moving to Cornwall in 2017. After a 2 year run with the Tollgate band (https://www.facebook.com/cornwallrocks/) it was time for something new...

I prefer music with a fair amount of energy to it. Softer/slower songs do add diversity and dynamics to the mix, but ultimately I want the audience to get up and move!!! I'm a firm believer in tailoring the music to the audience. Playing heavy rock to little kids or the elderly always feels kind of weird, but give me a good party type crowd and let's burn the place down!!!

A 5-piece band with drums, bass, two guitars and keys, equipped with IEMs (and everyone doing some vocals) would be my ideal, but the main thing is to have a good time and enjoy. Have a home life so I'm not looking to go on tour. I'd much rather rehearse once a week and pick up some fun (preferably paid) gigs once in a while. I'm also available to play online with JamKazam or SonoBus.
