I was lead singer/writter for Freakency(2003-2005, a punk-goth-electro project. We had to split since some band members we,re moving out of the province. Since then I have participated in a number of stage projects and helped some friends in studio.
Please keep in mind that what you see and hear from this band is a young me, my attitude is way more rock and roll than punk.
As of March 2012, I am looking actively for a band in Toronto. I would ideally prefer a cover band. Althought I am pretty commited when it comes to music, I don't want all the "emotional" attachement related to an original project, writting lyrics and trying to make it out there. (though I am open if I am presented with something that REALLY MOVES ME)
I want to have a blast with musicians that connect with the same tunes as I do. I would like to jam once or twice a week, I have my equipment and a car so I don't mind moving around.
I am also interested in Electro projects, something along the lines of The Knife, Austra or new Portishead.
I would like to do 70's - 80's - 90's.
Some bands I would like to cover: The cramps,Pixies,Sonics. A little darker: Bauhaus, Joy division, Siouxie. 90's rocker chick: Bif naked, Breeders... I could keep on naming, really for a loooooong time.
I am really open as long as it rocks.
