Hello :) Nathanael here, or usually just Nathan.
I am looking to start/join a band. I'd like to start by saying as a solo artist I have been mostly doing singer-songwriter stuff, though that is not where I would like to be. I want to do something rock/metal/punk-esque.
I have been writing my own music and songs since 2008, and been playing instruments since 2006. I started on a nylon stringed guitar when I was 11, moved up to steel string, and then ventured out to bass, drums, and a little piano. Rhythm guitar and bass are my two main instruments.
I am professionally trained in audio engineering and production, and mostly self taught myself instruments.
I have performed in a band many times, either with friends, other musicians, and (especially) in a church setting. I mostly have been a solo artist, though I have been yearning for a band, so here I am.

I have a very wide range of influences, I listen to everything except for rap and love all of it.
In terms of the band I am looking for, something from the rock/punk genres.
Between Oceans, Billy Talent, Kutless, Of Mice and Men, Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, probably more.

EQUIPMENT

Instruments I own are: acoustic guitar, acoustic 12 string, acoustic bass, acoustic baritone, 5 string electric bass, electric baritone, and two different electric guitars.
I have a few effects pedals, a board that I never ever use, guitar amp and bass amp, and a few XLRs and a few TS and TRS cables.
I have a few microphones too.
