Hello I’m a music lover who is honestly a mediocre piano player and a mediocre singer. I have been playing piano for at least 10 years (with regular practice im not awful) and I have been in choir for at least 8 years. I have experience singing/playing in front of audiences, though not in a concert like setting. I also have my level 7 music theory certificate and I can read sheet music and do transposition and stuff (not on the spot lol). I‘m a writer too and have written bits and pieces of lyrics.
It’s kind of my dream to perform a gig singing jazz standards in a fancy vintage dress David Lynch style.
I have a very airy and light voice, sometimes quiet but I can carry high notes fairly well. I am a soprano with a decent upper range. My singing style is most similar to bands/artists like Portishead, Metric, Joanna Newsom, Vashti Bunyan, Lana Del Rey, Garbage, Glass Animals, Goldfrapp.
