Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar.ABOUT
I play bass. I play some other stuff as well, but I am a bass player at heart. I am a versatile player with eclectic influences and I enjoy playing stuff that grooves.
I like to write. I like to record. I really like to improvise and create interesting music with good people.
Really I'm looking for a like-minded guitar player to collaborate with (jam, write, perform). I have a drummer and singer, but I need a regular guitar player to collaborate and make a musical connection with.
Gigs are not hard to line up if we are a good fit.
Check out my influences to see where we might align.
-----
I've been playing in bands since I was in high school and spent most of the 2000s playing original music across Canada at venues ranging from small clubs to concert halls and outdoor festivals.
I spent 8 years with an original alternative funk/rock/reggae band that released 2 albums and toured Canada multiple times.
I spent 4 years writing/producing/playing with a tight urban r&b/soul band that released an album and played on the festival circuit.
I have played in several side projects along the way in a variety of genres (acoustic/folk, indie, blues, latin, metal, dub, blues, hip hop, film soundtracks, experimental) and created a number of other recordings.
For the last 7 years, I have been playing with a solid group of guys in a rock and roll based project. We play a mix of originals and some deep cuts, and have a big sound with a fat rhythm section. We don't currently have a regular guitar player though, so there's an opening there.
