I have an Alternative Rock/Alternative Metal band with a lead singer, rhythm and lead guitarists, and a drummer. We just need a bassist with at least a decent level of playing ability. We would also like a female singer for backups and/or primary vocals for some songs. Our sound is comparable to Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Smashing Pumpkins.
Basically, we write our own stuff and need a bassist able to do the same. The ability to record your work (even if the quality's not that great) is a necessity as we'll be doing Youtube videos. I master the audio, so no worries on that front.
We are pretty dedicated to writing music and would like to write a song every month if possible. However, the current band members are all busy most of the time, so this commitment is flexible.
In addition, we plan on eventually doing covers of other stuff such as Metallica, Alice In Chains, Beethoven, The Eagles, etc. if any of those sound interesting to you, though the originals songs are the focus.

Zack and I write all of the music. We just need people able to write their own stuff over what we already have written. However, we will value any input you'd like to contribute for lyrics, vocal style, unique riffs, etc.
