I am a fairly skilled pianist and have been for some years now. I was taught by my grandmother starting at the age of five, and within a handful of years i quickly surpassed her skill level. That's when i started to jam with new friends and sought out new musicians to play beside. I feel that my talent is a little rusty because I want to continue further as a Recorder in a studio but the only way that my ability can be honed is if I start playing regularly again.

Influences
My style has been derived from a very wide variety of musicians dating back as far as Mozart and Beethoven, but more modern players such as Trey Anastasio (Lead guitar/vocals - Phish) and Porcupine Tree. As for genre, I've taken quite a liking to Reggae and Ska because I discovered Sublime and Rancid, and it shows when I play. Most of my practice solo has been through influence of the blues and 60's-70's rock. Jimi Hendrix played a big big part in my teenage years, my most influential period, so I'm fairly 'experienced' playing in this style as well. Jazz piano is a direction that I've wanted to go for some time now, all I need is a good teacher, one who knows how to instill the power of Jam.
EQUIPMENT
I do have near perfect pitch, so I'm very good with tones. At this point in time, i have access to a pretty decent organ, but that's all. I can sing, I can dance, I can play almost anything, financially though I'm in the red, and cannot afford to own right now.

Jam
Jam Track number: 1 Year: 2011 Album: Corey and Chris Genre: Classical
Me and my buddy jammed this out for an hour and it was my first decent recording. It's pretty rough, just one track, one mic, but I like it. I cut a 5 minute clip and this is it. Enjoy :)
