Starting new project with original material. I play guitar and write songs, but am realizing that I want a better singer than me! Someone to collaborate with in the writing. Hoping you can write imaginative and poetic lyrics (not too out there, but more sophisticated than talking about the one that got away...) Will need other musicians, but singer/collaborator first.
Want to put together a repertoire to play live shows and ultimately record, distribute and promote. Committed, but not too serious (have a day job, and not looking for overseas tour), but want to get noticed beyond our friend groups. Rehearse in Toronto once a week. Some influences listed below, but still figuring out the full vision for this project as songs are a work in progress - hopefully you can help!
