We are Blue Moose, an established cover band with 25+ years of playing soul, R&B, blues and classic rock in Durham and beyond. We're on the hunt for a talented lead guitarist and singer to complete our powerhouse ensemble.
About Us: We're not just any band - we're a tight-knit family of musicians dedicated to delivering performances that keep the audience grooving all night long. With a repertoire spanning soul, R&B, blues, and classic rock, our eclectic sound is backed by sax, trumpet, harp, keys, drums, bass, and a team of soulful vocalists.
Your Role: As our newest member, you'll bring your passion for music and stage presence to elevate our performances to new heights. Whether you're shredding a guitar solo or belting out soul-stirring vocals, you'll be an essential part of our dynamic sound.
What We're Looking For:
-Proficient guitarist with a soulful touch and a knack for improvisation
-Vocally versatile singer with a powerful range and stage charisma
-Ability to adapt to various musical styles, from Aretha Franklin to U2 to Powder Blues
-Commitment to regular rehearsals and regular gig schedules
