Looking for either an existing band or to form one with players who want to sound tight and have fun. My playing and interests are diverse (see below). I have a good voice with a fairly broad range; can sing lead or harmonies. I have played more as the “lead” guitar but can share the lead/ rhythm roles - no prob.
I come to practice having rehearsed my songs and ready to play them.
I am fully vaxxed.
Available for weekly group practices, occasionally more. Would like to do maybe 4-10 gigs/ year.

• R&B & funk (e.g., Stevie Wonder, Pickett), latin rock (e.g. Bruno Mars, Santana), rockabilly (Stray Cats), prog rock (e.g. Yes, early Genesis)
• Comfortable at improvising in Rock or Blues and with jazz chords but am not confortable at improvising over jazz progressions.
• NOT: Ultra heavy metal or Hip-Hop!

EQUIPMENT

I have 4 professional-level guitars, a Mesa, a Fender Deluxe reverb, a VoiceLive3, guitar pedals, mikes and some PA equipment & rack items. Will get what I need. My range of guitar sounds covers the varying genres mentioned above, sounding relatively/ reasonably close to the originals

ABOUT THE SONGS ON THIS PROFILE:
They are quickly recorded using GarageBand to make practice recordings (that is how I get ready for the band practices). The songs on this profile are just that - practice tracks, with quirks and glitches, not professionally done or well refined; there can often be missing parts, esp. bass. I used drum tracks or made my own using GBand; bass is also sometimes made up using GBand keyboard function. I haven't included songs with keys as posting these recordings w/o keys would sound too remote from original. When rehearsing these songs I record my playing with the original track in background.
The guitars & voices are my playing. Consider them a starting point rather than my best!
