PROFESSIONAL COVER BAND SEEKING GUITARIST WITH BACKING VOCALS. Own gear/transportation and professional attitude/attire is a must. We are: Lead vocals. Pianist/Keyboard/Accordian w/backing vocals. Bassist. Drummer. We are schooled (MCAM, Berklee graduate's,road) seasoned musicians already gigging. Our goal is to continue working in well established clubs, corporate events/festivals and eventually weddings. Our primary focus is dance floor tempo, huge rock (and) popular hits. The kind where everyone knows the chorus. We will focus on a few R and B classics and modern hits as well. On line auditions (preferred,not wrote in stone) will be held prior to band audition. Your choices for audition pieces are: Ziggy Stardust/David Bowie, Smooth by Santana feat:Rob Thomas. Handle With Care/The Travelling Wilburys, Play That Funky Music/Wild Cherry, Saw Her Standing There/The Beatles. We would prefer you pick at least 3 out of 5 songs, demonstrating to us your lead and rhythm chops AND harmony vocal abilities.Please be reasonably close to (downtown) Hamilton for weekly (ish) rehearsals. Rhythm and lead guitar duties are a must. Backing vocals are a must as well, no exceptions. A fairly wide vocal range and/or tenors to the front of the line. Led Zeppelin Etc Etc Etc.... Our repertoire list can be made available and is always expanding. We are also open to your repertoire list to speed things along.
