ABOUT

Hey I’m Zar (they/them)! I’m an 18 year old trans non-binary person. I started on guitar at 7, and I’ve been playing ever since. I played Trumpet and French Horn through high school; and I was in jazz band with trumpet and guitar, choir as a tenor then alto, concert band, vocal jazz, and whatever else. I joined a rockband outside of school in grade 11-12, and I now am a bassist in a punk band and a mix-genre alt band. I’ve been playing guitar for 11 years, bass for 4, singing for 5 years, trumpet for 8 years (though I’m out of practice atm), french horn for 5 years; and I’m working on ukulele, piano, drums, and looking to learn more
