Hi there! My name is Rachel Summer. I'm 20 years old and just graduated high school, after dropping out due to my drug addiction, then going to rehab for 6 months. I'm now 2 years sober and going into nursing!
In regards to my music background, I've been singing before I could even have a full conversation with people (2-3 years old ). When I started singing and writing songs, I would sing in my school talent show from the age of 7 to 14.
I'm self-taught & have been playing the ukulele for 9yrs, guitar for 3yrs, and a few keys & drums.
Personal background: During a dark time when I was homeless and living in shelters or foster care, I was 15 to 16yrs old at the time. I would busk & sing in subway stations — which I still do today, as an adult living on my own in an apartment.
