Looking to start a band (or possibly join one) and do some busking! Happy to jam in the meantime.
Used to play trumpet but gave it up to pursue other interests. Then last year I picked up a sousaphone and absolutely fell in love with it! First gig was at a bar during the Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival in 2018 and have been gigging on and off with a trad jazz clarinet and banjo combo ever since.
Joined the Vera Causa opera company in the fall of 2018 and have since played two operas with them. Will be picking up with them again in the fall, but the schedule is light.
Looking to do more gigging and up for pretty much anything.
I'm also a singer/songwriter with a musical theatre background.
So if anyone is interested in jamming with a sousaphone or doing some busking in the Cambridge area, let me know!
