I enjoy playing acoustic blues, folk, and country and I sing in a style like Lyle Lovett, Guy Clark, Jessie Winchester, JJ Cale and Mississippi John Hurt. I have never played with another guitarist before but am willing to trade tunes and learn from the other. I am 57 and have been playing acoustic guitar for 40 years. I have never been in a band but am open to playing with others who are comfortable swapping songs and chords. I am competent on guitar and am a relaxed acoustic player.

Influences
Lately I've been playing mostly Tom Waits, Mississippi John Hurt, Steve Earle, Cohen, Jesse Winchester and Greg Brown. Am always open to learning songs and trading chords to other singer songwriters. I play blues and folk but do enjoy some ragtime picking and travis picking.
EQUIPMENT
Yamaha Rosewood jumbo acoustic guitar with spruce top. It produces a nice low muddy sound that matches my singing style. Earthy.
