ABOUT

Hi I'm Axel! I just moved to Montreal and I'm looking for people to jam with and perhaps to gig with!

I play a bunch of instruments to varying levels of proficiency. I'm most comfortable on keys or guitar but I can do a decent showing on bass and even sit in on drums if you're in a tight spot! I sing, and can front a band, but I'm most comfortable as a backup/harmony sing. Don't currently have my fiddle with me, but can play a mean Devil Went Down to Georgia.

Influences

I grew up playing music with my family and then in various bands in university and with my Dad (who used to be a rocker in the 80s). Music and playing with other people is an integral part of who I am. I grew up playing classic rock and learned as a campfire musician, so rock/folk is my comfort zone. I love experimenting though and listen to all sorts of stuff. Especially like new age epic stuff like Aurora or Kalandra.
