Downtown Toronto-based drummer looking for bandmates or musicians who want to jam. Interested in writing and recording music, as well. I have about 6 years experience playing in casual bands who practiced together on a weekly basis, a while ago, and friends from those bands are now professional musicians in Toronto and Ottawa, so I appreciate the experience of having learned and performed with them.
Outside of music, I have a background in art, indie filmmaking, animation, and video editing, so I'd be excited to create a band like Linkin Park, in the sense that they have band members who brought background skills to their album art, directing their own music videos, business, style, merch, and behind-the-scenes jokes.
I've played the drums since 2002, and have produced some of my own electronic tracks just for fun in the last few years using Ableton Live, as well as produced the score for an award-winning sci-fi thriller short film.
Open to meeting up to practice, improvise, write, or jam on a monthly or weekly basis, and open to eventually forming a band if the group is interested.
