The Silverbacks cross a few genres, from jazz to world music to funk to acoustic ballads as well as blues and covering standards with new arrangements. At present, we are a duo, consisting of Rolf on keyboards and guitars and vocals, along with Blaine Dunaway on violin, cello, or fluegelhorn and trumpet. We play to all ages from small clubs to street festivals and stage shows, and love doing arrangements of songs as well as open improvisation where anything goes.
